FMP: Great Expectations comic strip

I have completed the comic strip for the Great Expectations tale. I chose to include more visuals form the previous two comic strips because while reading through the tale I gained a lot more ideas for visuals and how to present them on a double page comic strip. Again using a set of colours which I felt work together adding a more interesting visual to the comic strip. The colours also representing the meaning and environments of the illustrations.

FMP: Great Expectations Photoshop colour illustrations

I have coloured the chosen illustrations to become part of the Great Expectations comic strip using the colour filter on Photoshop. Again colouring the illustrations similar to the original references inspired from, and forming a colour pallet for the illustrations which works together. I included some of the finished images with separate illustrations becoming part of the same visual images, which would become part of the final looking comic strip.

I now intend to develop the comic strip for the Great Expectations tale.

FMP: Great Expectations written text

I have written out the pieces of text I developed visuals for from the Great Expectations tale. I wrote the text out in my own hand written to add a better connection between text and image. The written also will give the comic strip more of a personal feel and not look like dull computer text alongside illustrated visual images.

I have produced a set of illustrations based around certain pieces of text from Sum: Forty Tales From the Afterlifes Great Expectations tale. Some of the illustrations are more improved better quality drawings based around the same piece of text. I wanted to improve on certain elements of the illustrations which I felt lacked interested visuals, or changed my idea for how I wanted to represent visuals for a number of text.

I now intend to colour the illustrations I will use for the comic strip based around the tale on Photoshop.
