I have illustrated a background for the animal book pages. The background is to represent a safari setting. The animals will be included as a part of the image as with the hand developed texts. The idea is to give the book more of a natural feel. The background is also designed to link the pages to the front and back cover of the book which are intended to also showcase a safari background setting.
I now will look to develop the illustration with colour using both Photoshop and watercolour mediums.
